TURBOARD | Turn Data Into Value

To give its clients user-friendly, pixel-perfect, interactive reports and dashboards that help them gain deeper insights from data, Universal Software embedded TURBOARD in Real Estate Information System (or “EBİS” in Turkish).

Since its establishment in 1990 in Istanbul, Universal has been developing and producing sector-specific smart solutions to numerous businesses starting from government organizations to private corporations from various sectors. Universal offers a broad-spectrum of smart management solutions that intend to shorten business processes, increase efficiency of transactions, and save costs to their wide client base.

One of Universal’s applications, “EBİS” (a web-based application) is designed to manage real estate operations and procedures. Real estate offices, municipalities, utilities companies and any business that deal with real estates can use the system to manage and automate the various related processes and procedures.

Additionally, “EBİS” integrates easily with the client’s systems and apps, along with the digital government services and online systems such as the Turkish Land Registry and Cadastre Information System, the Population and Citizenship Affairs system, the Spatial Address Registration System, and the Central Population Administration System.

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, one of Universal’s prestigious clients and a client of TURBOARD as well, mentioned to Universal how TURBOARD's business intelligence capabilities have helped the municipality in gaining insights, improving performance in many of their business processes, and making better decisions.

Although Universal continuously seeks to advance its application to fulfill its clients’ evolving business needs, they had difficulties in displaying the map and numerical data together, they had a report design idea in their mind, but they couldn't realize it by using the capabilities of the reporting tool they had. So, they decided to collaborate with TURBOARD to visualize and analyze geo-spatial data and fuse the power of data analysis, smart reporting and rich data visualization with their application.

Therefore, in Sep. 2021, Universal partnered with TURBOARD to embed business intelligence as a value-added feature inside “EBİS”. Within one year, around 300 users (senior managers, mid-level managers, supervisors, end-users and tax-payers) were utilizing screens created by using TURBOARD as part of “EBİS” application with promising expectations for the numbers to rapidly increase.
