Monitoring and reporting for a nationwide network
ULAK Communications teams up with TURBOARD to unify nationwide base station monitoring and reporting through real-time, GIS-powered analytics.
ULAK Communications develops Türkiye’s domestically produced 4.5G and 5G base station technologies, with its stations deployed across the networks of the country’s mobile operators and delivering uninterrupted communication services to millions of citizens.

ULAK Communications teams up with TURBOARD to unify nationwide base station monitoring and reporting through real-time, GIS-powered analytics.
An infrastructure of this scale generates a relentless stream of field telemetry. Previously, that data was scattered across separate systems: one database stack served reporting, a second closed platform handled maintenance monitoring, and consolidated figures were periodically exported as Excel files and sent to GSM operators. As data volumes grew, the fragmented architecture strained under the load, causing recurring transfer failures and slow, unreliable queries.
Since ULAK Communications began using TURBOARD, its engineering and operations teams are able to:
Working hand in hand with ULAK’s engineering teams, a new data architecture was designed around TURBOARD. Base station data now streams into a high-performance ClickHouse database, to which TURBOARD connects live, bringing reporting and monitoring together in a single platform for the first time.
Today, telemetry arriving from around 2,500 base station sites every 15 minutes is visualized in TURBOARD within just half an hour of leaving the field. Through TURBOARD’s geo-spatial data visualization and analysis capabilities, geolocated base station data comes to life on interactive map dashboards, while frequency anomalies automatically trigger e-mail alerts to the responsible teams.
TURBOARD’s screens are used every day by predictive maintenance, network frequency optimization, and system operations engineers, and the same real-time visualizations power briefings for mid- and senior-level management, so the entire organization reads the network from one shared, up-to-the-minute picture.
