Every enterprise BI vendor says they support “cloud deployment.” Fewer can say which cloud, and for a growing number of organizations, that specificity is the whole decision.
TURBOARD is a certified Huawei Cloud Partner Solution, listed on KooGallery, Huawei Cloud’s marketplace for verified partner software. Here’s what the certification actually means, and, more importantly, who it’s for.
Huawei Cloud Partner Solution Certification isn’t a badge you buy; it’s a technical review. Getting listed as a certified solution on KooGallery requires passing Huawei’s product security review (vulnerability scanning, CVSS-scored remediation) and demonstrating that the software runs cleanly and reliably on Huawei Cloud infrastructure, not just that it can be installed there.
The review covered TURBOARD’s actual deployment on Huawei Cloud infrastructure, not just a generic install. TURBOARD runs containerized, in either a single-container configuration or a clustered, high-availability deployment with frontend and backend split. The certification validated it against a defined set of Huawei Cloud services: Relational Database Service (RDS) for the metadata store, Cloud Search Service (USearch), Distributed Message Service (DMS), Distributed Cache Service (Redis), and Scalable File Service (SFS).
In cluster mode, both the application and database layers run active across multiple nodes in the same availability zone, with the metadata database additionally backed up across multiple geographic regions for durability. Web-facing components were vulnerability-scanned against Huawei’s high-risk threshold (CVSS ≥ 7.0), and monitoring runs through Prometheus and Grafana at cluster scale.
“Just move to the cloud” isn’t a real answer for every organization: data residency law is the reason. Turkey’s KVKK, the EU’s GDPR, and Gulf-region data protection regimes all constrain where certain data can legally live, and for a large set of TURBOARD’s customers, “any major cloud” was never actually on the table.
Huawei Cloud has a materially different footprint than AWS, Azure, or GCP: strong regional infrastructure across the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific, and it isn’t subject to US jurisdiction the way the American hyperscalers are.
For public sector bodies, telecoms, and regulated enterprises in those regions, that’s not a preference; it’s frequently a procurement requirement.
Certification on Huawei Cloud makes TURBOARD a documented option for exactly those buyers, discoverable through the same marketplace they already use to source verified software.
Evaluate, contract, and pay through Huawei Cloud’s existing billing relationship, rather than standing up a separate vendor agreement.
The certification means the deployment pattern has already passed Huawei’s security and reliability review, rather than being a first-of-its-kind integration.
For organizations required to keep data within a Huawei Cloud region, TURBOARD’s full BI is available without a hyperscaler workaround.
Not a stripped-down cloud edition: self-service dashboards, TURBOARD’s existing data-source integrations, and any needed add-on like the AI assistant, GIS-S, FOR-S, or EMB-S — all carry over.
